Puzzled

Kathleen Grieger

My life
was taken
apart
Made into
pieces
that puzzle me

Confusion
with words
Headaches
and seizures
Balance
gone

When I come
to see you,
I bring
the pieces
I do not
understand why
I cannot be
put together

You shake
the box,
decide
that these
pieces
will never
be assembled

I leave
To find
someone
willing
to open
my box
Match
pieces,
make me
whole
