Literature & Medicine – Creative Writing Workshops

Workshops are offered to physicians, clinicians, nurses, students, faculty, librarians in Upstate Medical University who are interested in creative writing and/or in publication. Special topic intensives (on writing memoirs or on writing patient narratives) are offered. To explore these offerings contact Deirdre Neilen or Rebecca Garden.

Creative Writing Workshop for Faculty and Staff

The Creative Writing Workshop meets the second Wednesday of every month, from noon until 1 p.m., in the Center for Bioethics and Humamities' conference room in the Physicians Office Building, 725 Irving Ave., Suite 406. At our meetings we discuss the craft of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry, focusig on participants' writing.
