Jan Dahl - Staff Assistant
In 1998, Jan Dahl established with Dr. Faber-Langendoen the initial Program in Bioethics. She has been associated with Upstate since 1982, as Assistant to the Dean in the College of Nursing and in the Office of Student Affairs from 1987-1995. Since pursuing her degree and completing the Kennedy Institute's intensive course in Bioethics at Georgetown University, Jan has been integral to establishing and managing support services and office protocol at the Center. She coordinates various office projects and administratively assists Dr. Faber-Langendoen.
Lois Dorschel - Secretary I
Arriving at CBH in the fall of 2001, Lois handles the workload for seven interdisciplinary faculty members at the Center. She maintains, designs, and updates their web site as well. Lois assists with a number of the Center's projects: the Bruce Dearing Writing Awards, the ELSIM curriculum and is the Production Editor of the CBH's journal, The Healing Muse. In the summer of 2004, she was appointed the Coordinator for the Consortium for Culture and Medicine (CCM), a component of the Center for Bioethics and Humanities and maintains their website as well.
Eli Braun - Research Assistant
Eli graduated with an A.B. in Religious Studies, magna cum laude, from Brown University in 2006. He assists the Center's faculty with ongoing research projects.
Jennifer Williams - Healing Muse Assistant
Jennifer Williams is pursuing a dual degree in magazine journalism and psychology at Syracuse University. She assists part-time with the production and promotion of The Healing Muse.
