Amy T. Campbell
Ms. Campbell teaches in several venues at SUNY Upstate. She helps direct the Health Care Ethics course for students in the College of Health Professions and the College of Nursing, and directs Research Ethics: Responsible Conduct of Scientific Research. Her scholarly interests include child and adolescent mental health policy and ethics, mental health consumer rights in clinical and research settings, and how to develop health policy from a therapeutic and ethical perspective. She has been active in creating advocacy and policy-development training models for health care and legal professionals, with the objective that they more effectively partner with community and policy leaders to craft evidence-based policy to meet community and individual needs. Ms. Campbell is active in the university, where she serves as the Executive Director of the Consortium for Culture and Medicine. She is also on a committee helping develop a program on social responsibility and medical activism. She has also been a policy and ethics consultant to the Institute of Medicine, the Society for Adolescent Medicine, and the University of Pennsylvania Collaborative on Community Integration.
