"Ethical Issues in Developmental Disability Research:  Issues and Responses"
        
This talk will address pressing ethical challenges in the conduct of research with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with a focus on the intersection of traditional approaches to research ethics and disability rights' principles. Key topics explored include: Whose needs are addressed? Is the research respectful? Is the research accessible? And is there informed, voluntary consent?
