Admissions Requirements

Candidates accepted into the graduate program in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology are expected to have a general background in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Specific deficiencies in background education can be rectified with courses taken as part of the graduate program. Transcripts of the candidate's undergraduate record, three or more letters of recommendation, Graduate Record Examination scores, and in most cases personal interviews form the basis for admission. Processing of application forms by the department is facilitated when applicants are able to provide a fax number and/or Email address. Full tuition scholarships plus a 12 month stipend of $21,514 are available.
