1118A Court St SERVICE CENTER HOURS OF OPERATION MONDAY: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
During these hours, a volunteer, who is a member of Al-Anon or Alateen, will be at the Service Center to answer the Service Center telephone, assist any visitors to the Center, and to sell Al-Anon / Alateen Conference Approved Literature. When there is no volunteer at the Service Center, our calls are forwarded to an Answering Service. If you are in a Al-Anon crisis situation and have a need to speak to an Al-Anon member when the Service Center is closed, tell the Answering Service that you would like to speak to an Al-Anon member. They have an updated list of Al-Anon members who are willing to respond to such calls, and you will be put in touch with an Al-Anon member. Non - Crisis calls such as meeting information can be answered by the Answering Service, or your call will be returned by the next Al-Anon volunteer from the Al-Anon Service Center.
The Syracuse Al-Anon Information Service Center and Literature Depot is staffed by volunteers from the local Al-Anon Family groups. The Center is located on the First Floor of the old Maria Regina College Campus, now operated as the Pen and Pages Center by the Sisters of Saint Francis. The Al-Anon Service Center is in Room 11 (NEW ROOM). Parking is available on the Grant Boulevard side of the Maria Regina complex. Entry to the building can be made by the doors on the left-hand side of the building, closest to the Wilson Convent and go down one flight of stairs to the First Floor. Listed above are the current hours that the Service Center is staffed by a volunteer. However, always call ahead (315) 471-0191 just to make sure someone is at the service center. |
