Public Outreach Coordinator Information

Below is a photo of the billboard that District 8 in Missouri put up on Highway 63 at Ashland. It has been brought to our attention that billboard companies will put up billboards as a public service if the non-profit pays for the materials and set-up fee ($160 in this case) when they can't get the spot sold for the month. The group can't request the exact location. A member requested "in the Columbia, Missouri area" and this is what we got. It is somewhat blinded by two trees during the day but it shows up beautifully at night because it is a lighted billboard.

March 4th was Lois W's Birthday and Al-Anon's 55th Birthday. Al-Anon members are asked to leave a piece of Al-Anon literature in a public place to "carry the message" of Al-Anon. Help us carry the Al-Anon message of hope to others.
