2008 NYN SPRING AWSC MEETING REPORT 4/5/08

ITEMS ON THE AGENDA AT THE 2008 NYN SPRING CONVENTION ASSEMBLY:

1) Report from the Long Range Ad Hoc committee on conventions and assemblies
2) Report from the Ad Hoc committee on Policies
3) Report from the Ad Hoc committee on Action Committees
4) Host for the 2010 NYN Spring Convention and Assembly (Districts 10 and 17 have volunteered)
5) Officer and Coordinator Job presentation will be done by the Alateen Coordinator, Convention Coordinator and the Literature Coordinator.
6) Review of NYN Officer and Coordinator Job Descriptions.
7)Host for the NYNAC'08 - 30th Annual NYNAC (Districts 22,24 and 8 are doing this) motion to change the date for NYNAC 2008 to October 10-12, 2008.

May 29-31, 2009 - 2009 New York North Area Spring Convention and Assembly. Hosted by Districts 14 (Rochester) and 21 (Oswego) at the RIT Inn and Conference Center, 5257 West Henrietta Rd., Henrietta, NY The theme is "Growing Power". Rooms will be $94.00 for up to four people in the room.
